1 pm to 6:30 pm

PrideFest is a day-long FREE event that takes place on Liberty Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh between 6th Street and 10th Street.  In 2013, we had over 75,000 attendees (according to City of Pittsburgh estimates), and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever!

This year’s event will feature:

  • Over 150 vendors
  • Street performers
  • Food booths
  • Family friendly carnival games and inflatable attractions
  • A wide variety of continuous entertainment on two stages including gay country musician Steve Grand!

Steve Grand became an overnight internet celebrity when his video “All-American Boy” went viral.  He is acclaimed by some to be the first openly gay male country musician to attract mainstream attention.  Grand has become an active figure in the LGBT equality movement, and Out magazine named Grand to its annual “Out100” list of the year’s most compelling LGBT people.  He recently launched an on-line campaign to fund his first album which quickly became one of the top 5 funded music projects in Kickstarter’s history.
